Adam Clemens

Adam Clemens is a Managing Director and serves as Head of Private Equity and Co-Head of the Direct Equity team at Future Standard. Mr. Clemens joined Future Standard in 2010 and has been working in the private markets since 1985.

Prior to joining Future Standard, Mr. Clemens was the Co-Founder and President of New York Life Capital Partners, the captive manager of alternative assets for New York Life Insurance Company and third-party investors. Previously, he was the Head of Private Equity and Leveraged Finance within New York Life’s private finance group. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in the private placements department.

He holds a BS from Georgetown University, an MBA from Columbia University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Clemens serves as a trustee on the board of Westport Country Playhouse, a charitable organization that promotes the dramatic arts in Fairfield County, CT.
