Dan Cohn-Sfetcu

Dan Cohn-Sfetcu is a Managing Director for Future Standard’s Global Credit business. He serves as a Portfolio Manager for the FS Senior Credit Fund.

Prior to joining Future Standard, Mr. Cohn-Sfetcu was Head of Senior Credit and Portfolio Manager at Portfolio Advisors, which was acquired by Future Standard in 2023. Before that, he was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, working in the private credit division, and spent 12 years investing in middle market private equity and credit with American Capital, Richardson Capital and Brookstone Partners. He began his career in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto and SG Cowen in New York.

Mr. Cohn-Sfetcu holds a BCom from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
