Dan Cohn-Sfetcu

Dan Cohn-Sfetcu is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager in the Global Credit business. He serves as Portfolio Manager for the PA Senior Credit Opportunities Fund and FS Senior Credit Fund II.

Mr. Cohn-Sfetcu has worked in private markets since 2002. He joined the firm in 2018, and previously as Head of Senior Credit. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group in its private credit division and spent 12 years investing in middle-market private equity and credit at American Capital, Richardson Capital, and Brookstone Partners.

He began his career in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto and SG Cowen in New York.

Mr. Cohn-Sfetcu holds a B.Com from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
