Lisa Detwiler

Lisa Detwiler is the Managing Director, General Counsel of FS Investment Solutions, Future Standard’s wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary, and the Chief Compliance Officer of Future Standard’s registered investment advisers.

Prior to joining Future Standard, Ms. Detwiler served as Senior Managing Counsel of BNY Mellon’s managed account business and General Counsel of Lockwood Advisors, a BNY Mellon subsidiary, where she was a member of the executive and investment committees. She previously served as a partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP, as Chief Counsel of the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and as an attorney at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

She received a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was an executive editor of the Law Review, and a BA, cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College.

Ms. Detwiler has served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Business Law section, Co-Chair of the Women in the Profession Committee and as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Investment Committee. She is a past president of The Forum of Executive Women and currently serves on the boards of the Riddle HealthCare Foundation, the Committee of Seventy, the Reinvestment Fund, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, and as an advisory board member of Biospring Partners.
