Philip O’Brien

Philip O’Brien is a Senior Vice President and Private Markets Strategist at Future Standard who provides guidance and expertise to improve client experiences and outcomes. Mr. O’Brien is primarily responsible for educating clients on the firm’s Chiron platform. He also serves as a key resource for the liquid alternatives, real estate, alternative credit and cryptocurrency platforms as needed and is involved in strategic initiatives with the Chiron Investment Management team on the firm’s offerings and positioning.

Mr. O’Brien has 20 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry working with institutional investors, wirehouses, RIAs, family offices and independent advisors.

Before joining the firm, he served as a Regional Director at Chiron Investment Management. Prior to this, he was a Regional Director at William Blair & Company, where he supported all channels in the Midwest. He began his career at Deutsche Asset Management in Defined Contribution plans.

Mr. O’Brien received an MA in History from University College Dublin and an MA in Journalism from Indiana University. He holds Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses.
