Steven Lilly

Steven Lilly is a Managing Director at Future Standard and serves as Chief Financial Officer of the business development company (BDC) franchise advised by FS/KKR Advisor, LLC. In this role, Mr. Lilly provides strategic leadership and oversight of all finance, investor relations and capital markets activities at FS KKR Capital Corp. and other BDCs advised by FS/KKR Advisor.

Prior to joining Future Standard, Mr. Lilly served as Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of Triangle Capital Corporation, a publicly traded BDC sold to Benefit Street Partners and Barings, LLC in 2018. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President–Finance & Treasurer at SpectraSite Communications, a leading publicly traded wireless tower company sold to American Tower Corporation in 2005. He began his career in the media and communications capital markets group at First Union Corporation, now part of Wells Fargo & Company.

He is a graduate of Davidson College and completed an executive education program at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Mr. Lilly has also served on a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit boards.
