Steven Oblack

Steven Oblack is a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Solutions at Future Standard where he represents the Private Markets Solutions Group in market and strategy reviews with investors and financial advisors. He has a primary focus on the Future Standard real estate debt platform and is intimately involved in real estate product development and client solution initiatives.

Mr. Oblack has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, having spent the last 17 years focused on alternative investments. Before joining the firm, he was Director of Business Development at TFS Capital—a quantitative hedge fund manager and pioneer in liquid alternatives.

His past experience also includes roles at Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He has knowledge across a broad spectrum of alternative investment strategies and structures and has worked with institutional, intermediary and individual investors.

Mr. Oblack received his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and his BA in Economics from Bates College. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
