SAYBROOK AND NEW YORK CITY, October 2025—Future Standard strengthened its commitment to community and service through continued partnership with the nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels.
Colleagues from our Darien, Connecticut and New York City offices made paracord bracelets to support deployed U.S. troops. The Darien event took place Tuesday, October 28 in Saybrook, while the New York City event followed on Wednesday, October 29.

Paracord bracelets are crafted from 550 cord, which boasts a breaking strength of 550 pounds. They are compact, durable and highly versatile. These bracelets have long been used by military personnel for their utility in survival situations, such as tying gear, building shelters or even replacing shoelaces. Beyond their practical use, they serve as morale boosters and symbols of support from home.
“
This event was a powerful reminder of how small acts of service can have a lasting impact. It was great to see Future Standard employees from a variety of business units working together for such a meaningful cause. Partnering with Soldiers’ Angels and similar organizations gives us a direct connection to the brave individuals who serve our country, and the bracelets we made will serve as a tangible show of our appreciation and support.”

“
The paracord bracelet–making event was not only a fun and creative activity, but also a meaningful way to thank our active-duty troops. I’m grateful to the FS heroes’ network for giving us this unique opportunity to connect and offer our gratitude from afar.”
