PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 16, 2017 – FS Investments Chairman and CEO Michael Forman was honored by Mural Arts Philadelphia for his dedication to the city’s public art initiatives at the organization’s 2017 Wall Ball. The annual fundraiser and celebration took place on the evening of June 14, with members of Philadelphia’s business and arts communities joining together to support Mural Arts.
“Jane Golden and the entire team at Mural Arts Philadelphia do a terrific job bringing art alive to educate our kids and strengthen our neighborhoods,” said Mr. Forman. “We are extremely proud to support Mural Arts through our charitable arm, the FS Foundation, and through countless hours of employee volunteerism,” added Forman. “We look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.”

2017 Wall Ball raised about $630,000 for Mural Arts, which will support collaborative public art projects and high-quality art education and training programs in the city of Philadelphia. Michael Forman was honored alongside Pedro Ramos, President and CEO of The Philadelphia Foundation, and Rashid Johnson, who received the Tony Goldman Visionary Artist Award.
